Keary Getter Chapter WI-J

Thank you for your e-mail explaining the "road kill" tour. As I told you already your ad in the Wing World magazine caught my and my daughters (and co-rider) attention and decided to snap a few photos on our last big ride of the season since she is now going to be too busy with school and band for the rest of our already too short riding season.

We actually went on a Lighthouse Tour that was advertised in the same magazine starting at Grand Haven and ending in Ludington, Michigan where we drove up the coastline on our 92' Goldwing looking for the 5 lighthouses that was to line that small distance. Oddly not finding any road kill, at all, till we came almost to the end of the trip where we came across a never-ending supply of potential photos.

The enclosed photos were taken just as we came out of a well hided lighthouse in the Pentwater area. My daughter is the photographer, since she was not willing to be in the photo with the poor animals. One picture shows me on our bike next to a nice size deer and the other is again me on the bike next to a flattened seagull on a very narrow road.

I do want to thank you for having such a interesting photo tour, I don't know how many responses you got but it sure did spark our interest and got us out on our bike for a very nice and memorable 350 mile trip

Thanks again,

Loren and Kristine Hodgson
